Moonshine River and the Duff Racer

A few days before the premiere of the twenty-fourth season of The Simpsons, players were given a limited-time free item, the Duff Racer. Considering that this game has been used for cross-promotional events in the past, it is likely we will see some sort-of content update when the twenty-fifth season of the show premiers on Sunday, September 29th.

Fruit-Bat-Man Pt. 1 – 5

Ben Affleck has been cast as the new Batman, and many fans of the character do not feel confident in this casting decision. Do cross-promotional events entice you to watch the show?

cool_homerThere have been a few instances in the game where quests lines and items would be released to correspond with a new episode of the television show. While it is always exciting to get new items and story lines in the game, does it make you want to see the corresponding episode when it airs?

The Simpsons: Tapped Out has received more than a few items and costumes inspired by episodes from this past season. We’ve gotten a few new buildings like the Cool Brown House and the Swanky Fish restaurant, the Springfield Falls, and lots of new costumes: Gorgeous Grampa, Fruit-Bat-Man, Respectable Moe, and Cool Homer. Some of these items were free, while some were only available to purchase with donuts for a limited time, but all the same it did add new content to the game.
