Help

If you need help with The Simpsons: Tapped Out our staff will do its best to assist you. As players, sometimes we figure out ways to troubleshoot common issues, and we’re always happy to share our knowledge.

There are however more technical issues that we can’t fix, but we can point you in the right direction. EA has a specific support page for the game. On this page you’ll find tips to help you troubleshoot some of the more technical, device specific, issues you are having. Additionally you can contact an advisor with specific questions, which is a last resort when you can’t fix the problem on your own.

To contact an EA Game Advisor, log-in to your Origin account and follow this link.

Tip #1
Try powering off your device completely and turning it back on again. People rarely do this as most of our devices are in a perpetual sleep mode when we’re not using them. This tip is basically the “restart your computer” solution, but many times its all you need to get things running as they should.

Tip #2
Delete and reinstall the app. Since our games are saved server-side, you won’t lose any of your game data by trying this. If you are going to try this, make sure its over a high-speed connection, preferably over WiFi so you don’t exhaust your data plan downloading all of the game updates.

I’m collecting info to track my Conform-O-Meter rating but there are 11 buildings I can’t find any C-O-M info on what they modify.I’ve checked here, TOPIX, Addicts, and both wikis; even *SHUDDER* Tips (man, that place has become Shelbyville).I don’t want to trust the collection icons because they’ve shown to be inaccurate in the past. Can you guys help?

The buildings are: Santa’s Village, Supercollider, Mausoleum, Duff Stadium, Film Set, Kamp Krusty, Community Center, Springfield Coliseum, Volcano Lair, Sleep-Eazy Motel, and Barney’s Bowlarama.

I would like to know which of my neighbors are inactive and not visiting my town so I can replace them with active neighbors. Is there a way to spot this?

When youre in your own town, the buildings with handshakes are those your neihgbors collected for you. When you tap those, you will see a name float for a brief moment. You can try to notice who comes often and eliminate those who dont. At this point in time there isnt really a better way to get this information unfortunetaly.

On my sons game, all the characters walk backwards, not all the time but a lot. We all use the same tablet to play. Anyone know what might be wrong? We have never bothered to ask ea as it doesn’t seem to effect anything else
