Tired of Accidentally Rushing Tasks?

Have you ever been in the middle of tapping on buildings to collect money and XP when all of a sudden you initiate rushing a task you didn’t at all want to rush? Did you know that there is a simple solution to prevent you from making this mistake in the future? All you have to do is go to the build menu and tap on the “i” in the top-right-hand corner.

This takes you to a menu where you can enable an option to confirm donut spending. Enabling this option will initiate a confirmation prompt every time you try and spend donuts. This puts one more step between you and a mistaken donut purchase. Be mindful though, nearly every time there has been a significant update to the game this options resets itself to “off”, so be mindful of this the next time there is a big update.

Love your website! Thank you for all of the great info! I had a question: Around Thanksgiving I got a large truck labeled, Oscars Obstacles. It was a tie in with the TV show, but then I was never prompted to do anything about it. I don’t know if I failed to update my version of the game or something. Can you tell me what the truck ended up being about, what it offered, etc. Thanks.

It was just a ploy it get people to watch the show. Honestly I thought there was more to the item too.

Thanks for the kind comments and support.

Thanks for the info, when I updated for Christmas it must have gotten turned off, luckily I only lost four donuts, before I realized I needed to turn it back on. I wondered if I had accidentally turned it off, now I know what happened. Thanks.

I turn the push notifications off. Had once homer’s voice interrupting a meeting. Had to pretend my kids had played a game on my pad!

That’s the worst, I had to turn off all notifications for the game, and I’ve enjoyed the game more ever since. Isn’t the vocal push notification just so obnoxious too? “PUSH NOTIFICATION”

Yes. It gets in the way when you reach a number of characters and tasks. Why oh why?

And when it decides to interrupt calls?

Ha ha. I can imagine the situation. Specially if the adequate “better than my normal job” comes through!

[…] you haven’t switched on the confirm donut spend option, you’re probably best just tapping once and waiting for everything to be collected […]
